The Annual General Meeting followed the normal sequence of activities:

All procedural matters went as planned, ultimately the performance reports were formally approved by the AGM.

1. The Chairman’s report touched on several issues that are very pertinent to our organization, and suggested ways to improve our performance and make ACT tick. He emphasized the fact that our success is hinged on intensifying the membership drive, facilitating the Secretariat to deliver., heightening our effort to outsource funds as a short term measure, as well as contemplate on how to be financially self supporting, consolidating the public –private – partnership spirit, addressing matters that adversely affect agricultural production and productivity, and most importantly, step-up our endeavor to advocate for Kilimo Kwanza.

2. M/S Baccon Certified Public Accountants, based in Dar es Salaam, were approved to be ACT Auditors of Accounts for year 2008-2009
